Allinllachun! My name is Juana Capcha Nieto, people call me Juanita (she/her)
I was born and raised in Peru, I received a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad del Centro del Perú. I worked at Sedam Huancayo (drinking water service) and a dairy plant in Huancayo. Later I had my own business, San Antonio EIRL. In 2005, I emigrated to the US with my family. Now I live in the city called Holly Springs, NC (land of the Tuscarora, Lumbee and Mánu communities)
I was born and raised in Peru in the city of Huancayo, the Mantaro Valley in the Peruvian Alps at 3,250 meters above sea level. My little house was surrounded by flowers—roses, gladiolus, geraniums, carnations, laurels, lemon verbena—and all kinds of vegetables and fruit trees, a beautiful garden that stayed engraved in my memory. My mother, Eugenia Nieto Ninamango, used to say that there was a plant for every illness and to give flavor to every meal. My parents, Armando Capcha Sananga and Eugenia, were farmers. They were my first mentors in learning the power of plants and in promoting self-healing through the use of natural resources. Through them I learned about ancestral medicine that today I feel ready to offer to other people.
My intention is to help people maintain optimal health with medicinal plants that offer benefits like antioxidant properties, anti-inflammatory properties, and control of chronic diseases. The applications of plant power are holistic.
At the physical health level: it helps control diseases like high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes. It also detoxifies by improving the gut microbiome.

At the mental/emotional health level: exposure to natural environments reduces anxiety, helps sustain and transmute traumas, and improves mood by supporting your immune system.I offer:

  1. One-hour sessions that consist of a needs assessment and follow-up to see how the treatment/support with herbs and supplements is going
  2. Sessions to help you cook native Andean foods: Quinoa, wheat, olluco, soups and broths, etc.
  3. For the first 10 people who schedule their appointment, I’m offering lemon balm. This can be sent anywhere in the United States. Lemon balm helps with the nervous system by reducing stress, anxiety, and insomnia. It also helps with digestion: irritable colon, gas, colic, and gastritis.
Sessions cost $125. To make my services accessible, I can offer limited spots with sliding scale payment between $79-$125. You can choose what works best for you.
